LPA observing 5 incidents of children hurting each other due to lack of visual and auditory supervision from Director Baumer. 8 Director and Mr. Andrew will watch departments supervision video. LPA provided link. Director will write a statement refrencing her new layout and state that both she and Mr. Andrew watched the video. The statement will be dated and signed by both..

(i) Prior to employment or initial presence in the child care center, all employees and volunteers subject to a criminal record review shall: (1) Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by law or Department regulations... Director Baumer's spouse, Andrew Puppo, obtained a cleared background check after April 2024. LPA accessed Guardian as verification of clearance. LPA cleared the citation while on site. This requirement was not met when Director Baumer's uncleared adult spouse was present in the facility during the month of April 2024. This poses/posed a health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8

LPA observing a child alone in the bathroom (twice) and a child wondering away from the group to the parents entrance, both chil dren lacked visual observation from Director Baumer. 8 D1 will email a signed statement to LPA by 5 pm on 05/24/2024 which describes her staffing plan to enure supervision.
