Personal Rights
The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necssary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified. (1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirement is not met as evidence by 1 Director states will conduct a meeting and will have training with staff regarding lack of care and supervision, and submit in writing to the department the details of the meeting and training by the POC date, November 1st, 2024. LPAs observation of two school aged chidren at two different times left the outdoor play area and came into the facility alone without a staff members knoowledge. LPAs had to inform the staff member that children came inside alone. This poses an immediate risk of childrens health and safety in care. 8
