based on interviews, a photograph, and video footage, it was determined that on 02/03/2026, between approximately 11:20 a.m. and 11:23 a.m., one teacher (S1) roughly grabbed child (C1)’s arms for about two minutes, causing red marks under the child’s left armpit, which posed an immediate risk to the health and safety of the children in care.

based on information obtained from interviews and video footage, on 10/20/2025, between approximately 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., one teacher (S1) pulled a child’s (C1) hair, then C1 rubbed his head and walked away and one parent (P1) observed the entire incident, which posed an immediate risk to the health and safety of the children in care.

LPA reminded Director that an office meeting at the San Jose Child Care District Office will also be scheduled at a later date.
