101223(a)(3) Personal Rights - The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature including but not limited to: interference with functions of daily living including eating, sleeping or toileting; or withholding of shelter, clothing, medication or aids to physical functioning. A Plan of Correction was previously submitted. The plan for additional professional development training for Challenging Children Behavior Part 1 will be conducted on August 16, 2024 and Part 2 August 23, 2024. Site Supervisor will submit an agenda, sign in sheet and handouts to the Department. A parent meeting was held on May 30, 2024 This is evidenced by: Based on interviews which were conducted, Staff #1 has been violating children's personal rights by intimidation, patting children's back too hard, forcing chidren to take naps, grabbing a child's arm inappropriately.
