Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. During today’s inspection , LPA Garcia observed Staff 1 (S1) providing direct care and supervision to four children. Upon review, LPA determined that S1 did not have a criminal record clearance or exemption on file prior to the individual’s employment or initial presence in the child care facility, as required by regulation. This constitutes the presence of an uncleared adult in the facility while children were in care. which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

(b) Testing results with fractional ppb readings of 0.5 ppb or greater shall be rounded up to the nearest whole number, before comparing to the Action Level. (1) A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. (c) If testing indicates an Action Level Exceedance at any water outlet, the water from that outlet is deemed not safe to drink and an immediate response pursuant to section 101704 shall be required. Per Director Erin Wilcox, authorized representatives have been notified of the lead exceedance and testing results. Both outlets have been made inoperable. Director states she is working with the church Board and California Rural Water Association for remediation and retesting.
