Based on record review, a few staff files were missing immunizations for influenza, pertussis which which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which staff's mandated reporter training was expired which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Prescription medications shall be administered in accordance with the label directions as prescribed by the child's physician. Director stated she will return the expired medication to the parents to dispose of. She will do this by 11/8/2021. She will send LPA a written statement by 12/3/2021 stating when this has been completed This requirement is not met as evidence by: LPA observed three medications that have expired dates. Cream expired 6/2021, eye drops expired 9/2021 and Epi-pen expired 5/2021. This is a potential risk to children. 8
