Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. During the indoor inspection of the kitchen, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) observed mouse droppings in a bottom cabinet and near the baseboards on the floor in the kitchen. The Director stated that they previously had a rodent problem but it has since been remedied by the exterminator. The exterminator comes to the center on a montly basis.
