Based on observations and record review 2 children were enrolled at the center under 2 years old but over 1 year old. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care
(a) A licensee shall not operate a child care center beyond the conditions and limitations specified on the license, including the capacity limitation. Director agrees to understanding the terms of the license and will create a decleration and sign it and submit to LPA. This requirement is not met as evidence by: child under 2 years old was enrolled at the Child Care Center (CCC). This is a type B deficiency as it poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care. During todays visit, Director created and signed a Decleration and cleared the deficiency
Based on the interview conducted with S1, S1 admitted that during Shabatt, upon opening the bottle of grape juice, the juice smelled a little funny and as precaution she decided to taste the juice to ensure it was not expired. After tasing the juice, S1 inadvertently gave the cup to C1. This poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care. 8 Director will then submit proof of correction to LPA via email. suzette.ornelas@dss.ca.gov
