Based on interviews and video footage obtained the facility did not comply with regulation above wherein one daycare chid was left unsupervised for approximately 5 minutes. This posed a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
Based on statement from a witness and recorded videos, a staff was observed swatting a child on the buttocks, swatting a child on the hand, hitting a child on the shoulder, yanked a child by the hair and forcibly sitting a child on the carpet. 8 Mrs. Lambert also stated that the staff involved was immediately terminated and is no longer working at this center.
Based on interviews conducted with staff, facility was out of ratio with one fully qualified teacher and 2 aides with up to 24 children.
