(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. The children were allowed to be in a classroom that had water damaged. 1 The classroom has been repaired and carpet replaced. Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with allowing children to be in a classroom that had water damaged which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8 Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.

To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. The children didn't always have access to the bathroom which located downstairs. The children are only using the downstairs bathroom since moving back into their classroom.
