(b) All licensed Child Care Centers operating in buildings constructed before January 01, 2010, shall test their water for lead pursuant to these written directives... This requirement was not met as evidence by: 1 Director will post lead results and will notify parents no later than 06/18/2026. Director indicated that another water sampling will be conducted on or before 07/17/2026. Director indicated that both sink faucets have been replaced and will provide a copy of receipts. Based on record review and interview, Kitchen faucets "E" and "F" showed to have been impacted, and results indicates out of compliance over ALE 5.5 ppb, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risks to persons in care. 8 Director provided new testing resluts upon completion.
California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (a)California’s Action Level for lead in water at Child Care Centers is 5ppb....(c) If testing indicates an Action Level Exceedance at any water outlet, the water from that outlet, the water from that outlet is deemed not safe to drink and an immediate response pursuant to section 1 Director has already changed the faucet and is in the process of flushing and re-testing the faucet. Director will inform all parents of the lead exceednace in their preferred language. Director will follow up with LPA by POC date to inform of progress of re-test. 101704 shall be required. This requirement was not met by evidence by: Based on record review provided by PACE Analytical a result of (ALE) of 6.6 for outlet E which is out of compliance over the allowable ALE 5.5ppb. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8
