The Department has reason to believe that family child care is being provided without a license. This requirement is not met as evidence by: Facility will cease operation immediately. Based on observation and interview this afterschool care is not complying with the section cited above as LPA Ly observed there are 16 children being cared for by 4 adults which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8 Failure to do so will result in civil penalty specified in Section 102357(b)(1) shall be imposed of $200/day if the occupant of an unlicensed facility refuses to seek licensure or the occupant seeks licensure and is denied but continues to operate.
