(b) In combination programs, outdoor activity space provided for school-age child care center children shall be physically separated from space provided for other child care center children. This requirement was not met as LPA observed school-age children playing with preschool children in the preschool outdoor play area at the same time. This is a potential health, safety, and/or personal rights risk to children in care. Director agrees to have school age children utilize the outdoor play area at different times than the other child care children. Director agrees to provide training for staff on regulation and send attendance sign in and minutes of training. Director agrees to follow the conditions of the outdoor waiver that CCLD approved on 9/09/2020; All conditions of the waiver should be observed including that the times of use of the outdoor space are staggered so that comingling of children from different programs does not occur.
