LPA White witnessed Director clean the area immediately. Director provided LPA White with a declaration at the time of inspection stating her understanding the importance of storing poisonous items in an off limits locked area making them inaccessible to children in care. Rat Poisioning was not made inaccessible to the children in an outdoor play area which poses a potential risk to the health and safety of the children in care.

(m) A child care center director shall complete 16 hours of health and safety training if necessary pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866.
