Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in ensuring areas and cabinets that hold disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons such as bleach, and other such items are locked and and made inaccessible to children in care which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The laundry/storage room that holds all such above mentioned items was unlocked and accessible to children during this visit.

Facility has placed the water outlet out of order and is providing drinking water to children in a pitcher with disposable cups. The faucet has been replaced and will not be used until retested and no longer has an exceedance. LPA received the facility's water testing results for Faucet E with an Action Level Exceedance higher than the allowable limit.
