Based on analyst interview and record review, the facility did not comply with the section cited above as they did not follow their own written plan of operation when a child who was determined to have head lice returned to the child care center when they still had signs of the infestation which was a potential risk to other children in care. 8 Facility will then schedule and conduct a training regarding return to the center for all illnesses including, if children sustain a head lice infestation, and submit a copy of the training material for the staff regarding the illness readmission policy, as well as the training's attendance sign in sheet, to analyst, by 03/10/25 to complete the correction.
