(a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1)No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. Based on observations and interviews the director did not ensure the personal rights of children in care in that 21 of children in care (C1 – C21) did not wear face coverings while in the facility, as required by the Order of the State Public Health Officer (June 11, 2021), and an individual face covering exception did not apply. This is a potential health and safety risk to children in care. The director will send in a written statement by Friday 12/17/21 that indoors masks will be worn by children and staff.
