101170: Criminal Record Clearance: "(e) All individuals subject to a criminal record review... shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility: (1) Obtain a California clearance or a criminal record exemption as required by the Department..." This requirement was not met as evidence by: 1 Staff member (S1) left during inspection to go get fingerprinted. Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in there is a staff member (S1) who has not obtained fingerprint clearance and is supervising and working with children which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8 Un-fingerprinted staff member (S1) must obtain fingerprint clearance prior to returning to the facility and caring for children. Civil penalties were assessed.
