This requirement was not met as evidence by: 1 Facility will conduct a staff meeting to train and discuss with staff that children may not be commingled and must remain separated at all times. Facility will submit meeting agenda with items discussed and signature of all staff in attendance. Agenda will be emailed to LPA. Based on observation and interview, facility did not comply with the above regulation as LPA observed toddler program and preschool program children commingling in the outdoor playground area, which poses an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care. As this is a repeat violation a civil penalty has been assessed.
101416.2 Infant Care Teacher Qualifications and Duties (c) To be a fully qualified infant care teacher, a teacher shall have the following: (1) Completion, with passing grades, of 12 postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in early childhood or child development education at an accredited or approved college or university. (A) At least three of the units required in (c)(1) above shall be related to the care of infants or shall contain instruction specific to infants. This requirement was not met as evidence by: 1 Owner/Director will ensure a fully qualified teacher will be assigned to toddler classroom at all times, Owner/Director will email LPA new updated LIC500 with staff schedules and titles. Director/Owner will email LPA transcript of staff with infant/toddler units, that will be assigned to toddler classroom. Based on observation, file review and interviews, Facility did not comply with this section cited above. Based on observation and interview, facility did not comply, as notice of site visit dated September 1, 2026 was not posted, which poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. 8 An immediate civil penalty of $100 has been assessed.
