101239.1 Napping Equipment (d) Napping equipment shall be arranged so that each child has access to a walkway without having to walk on or over the cots or mats of other children.This requirement was not met evidenced by: Director will conduct meeting with the staff to arrange napping equipment to have access to walkways and not block the exits . Agenda with the satff signatures will be send to LPA by POC date . Child #1 tripped over child# 2 napping equipment when he was puting his book back to the book area. 8
Based on observations and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. During the tour LPA`s observed mats along with the linens stock up on each other ,which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Upon the occurrence, during the operation of the child care center of any of the events specified in (d)(1) below, a report shall be made to the Department by telephone or fax within the Department's next working day and during its normal business hours. This erquirement was not met evidenced by the fact that the facility did not report an incident 1 Facility stated that incidents will be reported within 24 hours moving forward. that occurred at the center on 07/07/22 within 24 hours. This is a potential risk to children in care. 8
