Director and staff will watch the "Teacher-Child Ratio" training video on the CCLD website. Director will conduct a staff meeting and discuss ratio requirements and come up with a plan of action to ensure that ratio is maintained at all times. The director will create a written statement of this plan During the visit, LPA observed one teacher and one aide with 10 infant children in the classroom, which poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights to children in care. 8 of action and explain the ratio requirements for the facility as stated in the training video. All staff, including director, will sign and date this written statement. Director will send this signed written statement to LPA by no the due date of 06/06/2025.

(a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision...(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. 1 Director is to conduct an all staff infant/toddler meeting. Training is to include active supervision techniques and how to properly position teachers within a classroom for constant visual supervision of all children in care. Agenda items along with signatures of all attendees to be submitted via email to This requirement is not being met as evidence by: Staff were not positoned appropriately to ensure all children in care remained under visual supervision resulting in a child in care getting injured which is a potential health and safety risk to persons in care. 8 LPA no later than 4/30/2024.
