Based on observation of the complainant and interviews with staff, children that are not napping are forced to stay on their mats quietly for 2 or more hours, which poses a potential health, safety and/or personal rights risk to children in care. 8 how rest time will be conducted for children that do not fall asleep and provide details of the alternative activities that will be offered to the child(ren) that are still awake during the scheduled rest time of 12:00pm – 2:00pm.

Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that at 12:30pm the Licensee informed the Director that lead testing has not yet been completed which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
