(a) There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance, except as specified in (b) and (c) below. Director is to maintain ratios which are specified in Title 22 Regulations, Section 101216.3. Director will watch the ratio/capacity video on the ccld.ca.gov website and submit a summary to LPA Plumboy via email. This requirement was not met due to the preschool classroom had 13 children enrolled and attending, and at times the 13 preschool age children were supervised by 1 adult which poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. 8 Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.
