Personal rights §101223(a)(1)
101223 Personal Rights (a) The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: (1) To be accorded dignity in his/her personal relationships with staff and other persons. Center Director and staff will watch CCLD video on Personal Rights and have training with staff. Center Director will submit proof of meeting and statements from staff to LPA by due date issued. The meeting will include a discussion about personal rights of children. Based on interviews, the center staff did not comply with the section cited above of maintaining the personal rights of a child subjecting them to Staff yelling at day care children which poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care Center Director and staff will watch CCLD video on Personal Rights. Center Director will submit proof of meeting/discussion to LPA by due date. 1.
