Based on interview and record review, S-1 fell asleep during naptime and was the only staff present in the room at the time. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care. 8 S-1 was terminated on 04/18/2024.

Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision(a)(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. 1 Executive Director stated that part of their POC PLAN, Staff will no longer work at the Center, and all staff will be re-trained on supervision of the children. Director stated she will submit the plan by the POC date.
