Seaside Preschool (Bay Location)

Ms. Kira stated that they do conduct a safety check prior to allowing children to play in the yard. Due to the weather condition, the bars were wet. Staff will check the bars prior to allowing children to use it. Facility placed a towel by the monkey bars to be used by staff for drying the bars on days when it is "misty". Per LPA's interview and review of Unusual incident report. On 6/11/2024 a child crossing the monkey bars slipped and fell onto her left arm. According to staff, it was a misty day.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as two water tables were left filled and unattended while children were present and playing in the playground which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on personnel file review, LPA Clenista observed no AB1207 certificates in Staff 1 & 2's file and Staff 3's AB1207 certificate was expired on 08/29/2021. All staff were observed interacting with children during time of inspection, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
