Based on record review, staff interview and LPA observation, the director did not comply with the section cited above by verifying staff is fully qualifed to provide care and supervision to infants. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety or personal rights of children in care. 8 regulatory requirements for teacher requirements and ratios for all classrooms and will submit the staffing plan to CCLD by 07/24/2026. Director will also submit exception requests for staff that are currently pursuing teacher qaulifications (12 ECE units and 3 infant units).

101429 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision for Infants (a) In addition to Section 101229, the following shall apply:(1)Each infant shall be constantly supervised and under direct visual observation and supervision by a staff person at all times. This requirement was not met by: 1 Director will provide Community Care Licensing with a scheduling plan for back-up coverage for staff breaks, lunches, sick calls. Director will also complete the Child Care Center Online Orientionation. Based on LPAs observations of documentation received it was determined that staff left the classroom unattended while 3 infants were in the classroom during naptime, and one infant was awake. This poses a significant risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
