Based on LPA records review and Director interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. S4 does NOT have Mandated Reporter Training (MRT) Certificate in file. In addition, S3, S5 and S7 completed ONLY the general training for MRT not AB1207 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on LPA observations and records review and Director interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. S7 is a qualified aide with 9 units and is missing 3 units in child/family/community. During the tour, S7 was addressed as a qualified teacher supervising 10 PS in room 114 which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

101700.3 California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (a) California’s Action Level for lead in water at Child Care Centers is 5 ppb. (b) Testing results with fractional ppb readings of 0.5 ppb or greater shall be rounded up to the nearest whole number, before comparing to the Action Level. (1) A result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. (c) If testing indicates an Action Level Exceedance at any water outlet, the water from that outlet is deemed not safe to drink and an immediate response pursuant to section 101704 shall be required. 1 Authorized representatives have been notified.
