Facility shall ensure that all the classrooms are at least 68 degrees and send the LPA an image of a thermostat in each classroom displaying a temperature of at least 68 degrees F no later than March 31, 2023. The building did not have any heat in the classrooms for approximately two weeks where the temperatures reached below 68 degrees F. This poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.
Based interviews and record review it was determined that the children were cold while inside the classrooms and had to wear jackets while indoors. This poses a potential health and safety risk to the children in care.
