Based on interviews, photos and record review S? had no ECE units and does not meet the teacher requirements, however, she covered alone in the infant room due to staff shortages. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The director agrees to develop a written plan of operation and staff schedule that meets title 22 regulations that the infant room will always operate within the 4:1 infant/staff ratio’s by staff who have the necessary qualifications. The plan of operation and staff schedule to be sent to CCL by 12/3/21.

101438.3 (b) Indoor activity space for infants shall be physically separate from space used by children in the childcare center and school-age child care center components. Based on interviews, and photos preschool children were commingled in the infant activity space which at times resulted in older children injuring younger children. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. The director agrees to develop a written plan of operation the includes that the infant space will be physically separate and that the older children will not be commingled within this space. The plan will be sent to CCL by 12/3/21.
