Based on observation, interview, and record review, milk is not offered at lunch unless requested by a parent which poses a potential risk to the health, safety, or personal rights to children in care.
LPAs observed the teacher walk away from the room where the children were napping at least 10 times, leaving the napping children without visual supervision at all times which poses an immediate risk to the Health, Safety or Personal Rights to children in care. 8 Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.
When the child care center director is absent from the center, arrangements shall be made for a fully qualified teacher as specified in Section 101216.1(c) to act as substitute. (...) (1) If the child care center director is absent for more than 30 consecutive calendar days, the substitute director shall meet the qualifications of a director. Director or Acting Director shall submit proof of completion of training to become a qualified director to LPA by 1/30/26. Director was absent from the facility for more than 30 consecutive calendar days and the appointed subsitute does not meet the full qualifications of a director, which poses a potential risk to the Health, Safety or Personal Rights to children in care. 8 Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above when staff was observed changing a child's diaper on the table in front of other children which poses an potential risk to the health, safety or personal rights of children in care.
Based on observation, the center did not comply with the section cited above, there was medication in an unlocked cabinet and disinfecting spray on the counter next to changing table which poses an immediate safety risk to persons in care.
