Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there were 2 infants sleeping and there was no staff observing the 2 infants as they slept. LPA observed that the 2 infants were not observed for at least 20 seconds starting at 12:58pm. After about 20 seconds had passed LPA obsereved a staff member provide supervision to the sleeping infants. This poses/posed an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Based on the interview & record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Health and Safety risk to the children in care. During the file review for children the LPA was unable to review sleep logs for C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5. The Director stated the Infant Needs & Service Plans were given to the Authorized Representatives for updates but they have not returned them.
