children's record review. LPA observed that 1 child out of 17 children was missing the LIC 9224, Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports. This is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
Based on the information provided during this visit, it was found that S1 (Staff #1) bopped a child on the head and face several times with a cushion pillow due to the child not listening. It was then observed that S3 (Staff #3) pulled the same child's ear across the room. Furthermore, it was observed on the video footage that prior to these two incidents occurring, approximately 4-5 minutes before, S1 pulled child #2's hair in an attempt to sit the child down. S1 then grabbed the child by the arm to forcefully sit the child down. This was an immediate risk to the health and safety of each child in care.
