Director agrees to provide written plan of how the facility will maintain infant ratios during hours of operation at all times. One infant was removed from Infant room immediately and moved to Toddler 2 room. LPAs observed five infants in Infant room supervised by one staff which poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care. 8 The Director shall ensure that either herself or another teacher will monitor and cover when necessary to maintain infant/teacher ratio. A staff meeting discussing ratio requirements and a declaration signed by Director shall be submitted to LPA by 10/15/2024.

Based on observation, interviews, and review of Lead water testing samples taken on 8/23/2022 revealed that levels of lead were beyond allowable amount deemed by the State of California. Handwashing sink (sample B) lead exceedance level 28.6 ppb. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care.
