There was not enough lighting in daycare during naptime to adequately navigate sleeping children. Phone flashlights were necessary to safely navigate room.

A caregiver was observed in a classroom with children with an inactive background check. The operation has not recieved an eligibility notification from CBCU stating they can be present.
The door to the room is missing one screw and bracket to attach it to the wall and cannot be opened properly. Caregivers have to pick it up and then open it to enter the room.
Infants were left unsupervised when the caregiver left the room to answer the front door. Auditory and visual awareness was not maintained. Another caregiver left a classroom of children unsupervised two times.
Observed a 4 month old in the same classroom with the a 26 month old during the inspection. The oldest child in the infant room can be no older than 22 months.

The use zone for the merry go cycle and play cars do not extend 6 feet around the permieter of the equipment.
The hand washing sinks in the Pre-Kindergarten and School Age classrooms were not equipped with paper towels or soap. Note: The provider added refilled the soap and paper towels during the inspection.
Based upon the findings from the DFPS Investigation, there is sufficient evidence to support a violation of this standard. Caregivers have grabbed and pulled children by the arm.
