This standard was evaluated in regard to a report and was found to be deficient. The caregiver in charge of a group of children when a child was injured did not have current training in First Aid. The caregiver has completed First Aid training.
When notifying a parent of an injury, the front office provided information that differed from the written incident report.
There were ant mounds on the grass yard area leading to the playground turf area which caused children to get bitten.
Based on information obtained it was determined a caregiver grabbed and pulled a child as way to direct them to a task. In this action a mark was left on the child's arm.
