There was a trash can in each bathroom without lids. The person in charge corrected this at the time of the inspection by replacing the trash cans with lids.
There were two groups of children on the playground. One group was nine 2-3 year olds with one caregiver and the other group was eight 12-24 mo olds with a SAG of 24mos with one caregiver. The caregiver of the 2-3 year olds left the playground and went to the bathroom, leaving the outdoor groups combined and out of ratio. This was corrected at the time of the inspection by the caregiver returning to the playground.
There were two play structures on the playground that did not have the required amount of loose fill.
The Fire Inspection expired. The Director is going to correct this by getting the Fire Inspection done.
There were caregivers that did not know the correct sanitizing procedures.
The Diaper Changing mat in the 2 year old room had a tear. The Director corrected this at the time of the inspection by replacing the mat.
A caregiver placed an infant on the changing table and turned her body away, no longer looking at the in infant. The infant rolled off the changing table.
A caregiver placed an infant child on a changing table and did not keep her hand on the child to reduce the risk of rolling/falling from the changing table. This allowed the child to fall from the changing table without any intervention from the caregiver.
A caregiver present and in charge of a group of a group of children did not have current CPR and First Aid training.
A caregiver in charge of a group of children used her personal cell phone to video a child to send the video to a person who was not present at the operation.
One employee at the operation was found reason to believe for Neglect by Department of Family and Protective Services.
The fire inspection expired one 8-23-23. The Director is going to correct this by getting the fire inspection done.
There was a person caring for children who did not have a background check submitted. The Director corrected this by having the person leave and is entering her background check.
There were a few tears in the diaper changing mat in the toddler room. The Director corrected this at the time of the inspection by covering the tears with duct tape and will replacing the mat tomorrow.
There were two clasrooms seen during the walk through were children were watching a cartoon during breakfast. The caregviers corrected this at the time of the inspection by turning off the televisions.
There was a piece of climbing equipment that did not have the required amout of loose fill. The Director is going to correct this by getting more loose fill and upping supervision until the lose fill is installed.
The diaper changing mat in the two year old room had a tear in it. The Director corrected this at the time of the inspection by replacing the mat.
Two bottles in the infant room were not labeled. The Director corrected this at the time of the inspection by labeling the bottles.
