There was sufficient evidence found to determine that staff members were unaware of how a pacifier that did not belong to the child ended up back with their belongings on two accounts. This was corrected at inspection when staff members labeled all infant's pacifiers with their names and director implemented daily walk throughs of the infant classroom.
This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and found to be deficient when a caregiver exercised poor judgement when she used harsh tones when interacting with the children in care. In addition, this caregiver was also observed instructing one child to hit another child.

It was observed during the inspection two caregivers wiping children's noses and not washing their hands in between each nose cleaning. This was corrected at inspection. When caregiver was asked to wash their hands after cleaning a child's nose.
It was observed two children's medications had expired. This was corrected at inspection. Expired medications were removed and not administered.
Three children in the toddler class had visible running noses that needed attention. This was corrected at inspection when cargivers were informed and wiped their noses.
A caregiver accidentally used the incorrect cleaning solution on equipment resulting in two children receiving chemical reactions.
A child was left unsupervised for approximately 5 minutes, after a caregiver failed to conduct the proper roll check.
Out of ten files reviewed, one child was not current on immunizations.
Fire drills for the last three months have exit times documented for more than three minutes.
Three children that are four years old and have been enrolled at the operation for more than 120 days did not have vision and hearing screening documentation available at the time of the inspection.
