At the time of acceptance of each child in care, the licensee shall inform each child's parent or authorized representative of his/her rights that include, but are not limited to, the following: The Owner/ Licensee will update the policy/ procedure to allow parents entry into the facility. The Licensee will post updated policy for parents to review by the POC date. The Licensee will submit proff of correction by June 9, 2023. To enter and inspect the child care center in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.857. The Owner/ Licensee confirmed that parents have not been allowed in the facility. This poses a potential risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of the children in care. 8
