Food Services- (a) In child care centers providing meals to children, the following shall apply: (6) Menus shall be in writing and shall be posted at least one week in advance in an area accessible for review by the child's authorized representative.... This requirement was not met by: 1 During the inspection director placed all menus on the parent board in the lobby area where parents and representatives are able to view. Based on LPA observation and interviews conducted menus are not posted in an area that can be reviewed by the children’s authorized representative. This is a potential risk to the health, safety or personal rights of children in care 8

This requirement was not met by: 1 Director stated she would provide training to staff on this regulation; and the appropriate serving size for children in care and submit proof of the training including a dated agenda with topics reviewed signed by each staff. Proof will be submitted to the Department by POC date 06/04/2025 Based on LPA observation staff are not providing the appropriate serving size to mee the necessary needs of the children in care. This is a potential risk to the health, safety or personal rights of children in care 8

Director stated she would provide training to staff on this regulation and submit proof of the training including a dated agenda with topics reviewed signed by each staff. Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in LPA observed paint chipping in all classrooms, chairs that needed to be cleaned, play equipment that was broken/missing parts, and rugs that were fraying posing a tripping hazard in 3out of 4 classrooms which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in wooden play structure needs to be painted, screws are sticking out, tanbark needs to added under climbing structure and swings, poles need to be re-wrapped, fence needs to painted, and the kitchen sets need to be fixed; which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
