PERSONAL RIGHTS: The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights:To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. 1 The boxes were removed from the hallway and placed in staff office; today the boxes are gone. Deficiency observed to be corrected and cleared. This requirement is not met as LPA observed a safety hazard on previous visit of heavy shipment boxes stacked in the facility hallway that could potentially injure a child if knocked over. This is a potential health and safety risk to children in care. 8
