According to Director, all fixtures on (F), (J), and (P) will be replaced and retested. During inspection Director shut off water vaules on all identified areas with lead exceeding 5.5 ppb. Also, out of service signs were placed on all identified areas. Per water testing results identifying facility with lead level exceeding 5.5 ppb in three different locations (F) 9.4 ppb, (J)6.4 ppb and (P)6.9 ppb which is out of compliance allowable ALE of 5.5 ppb. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. 8 During inspection Director emailed and posted parent notification of lead results. Facility has agreed to retest water and submit a copy of the report faxed or email to the Palmdale Regional Office by due date.
Based on observation, interview, record review, the Director did not comply with the section cited above. LPA did not observe a drill log documenting disaster drill conducted at least once every 6 months which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
