(a) (1) A licensed child day care center, as defined in Section 1596.76, that is located in a building that was constructed before January 1, 2010, shall have its drinking water tested for lead contamination levels on or after January 1, 2020, but no later than January 1, 2023, and every five years after the date of the initial test. To begin correcting the exceedance, the facility has applied and been granted assistance from the AB 2370 Team on 12/13/23 and is waiting on California Rural Water Association (CRWA) to contact the facility and schedule the sampling. Based on interview, the facility has not completed the lead testing, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 8 Director shall schedule lead testing and submit required documents (LIC 9275, LIC 9276, LIC 999, photos, lead testing results and any other supporting documents to LPA due date of 1/15/24.

Based on observation and record review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in no staff have current CPR/First Aid training on file, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. CPR/First aid expired on 10/24/2022
