(a)(2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. The requirement is not met evidence by 1 LPA observed CCC is reviewing Behavior Guidance Policy with staff. Director will complete the guidance with all staff and email LPA once completed at giovani.gonzalez@dss.ca.gov. Based on interviews conducted and record review, the CCC did not comply with the deficiency cited above which poses a potential risk to the health, safety and or personal rights of children in care. 8
(a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, Supervision shall include visual observation. 1 The CCC staff will watch a video on the departments website titles "care and supervsion" the website can be found below: This was not met as evidence by.. Submit a written plan of correction addressing how staff will meet the needs of children in care by email to LPA Chavez. rona.chavez@dss.ca.gov or ana.tolentino@dss.ca.gov for review by 4/14/2023. Interviews and review of documentaiton revealed that children sustained unexplained injuries in care and staff failed to meet the diapering needs of children in care. This poses an immediate risk to the Health and Safety of children in care.
