Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPA observed a staff member being alone with children and does not have all of the required educational unit transcripts on file, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as LPAs did not observe the Carbon Monoxide detector during the inspection, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
LPA observed the play structure in the infant play ground, which is labled for 2 to 6 years old. 1 The facility agreed to move the structure. During the inspection on June 20, 2023, LPA observed the structures were moved to the preschool play yard. This poses a potential Health and Safety risk to children in care.
Personal Rights-The licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights: To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement is not met as evidenced through video recording and 1 Facility agreed to conduct the trainig for all staff regarding carrying personal items on staff. Facility will provide the training agenda and staff sign in record to the LPA. interviews, it was found that the child was injured by the personal items, which were worn by the staff. This poses a potential Health and Safety risk to children in care. 8
