Based on observation and interview, LPA learned that the facility does not follow the illness policy written in their Parent Handbook, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
lead test results received by CCLD on May 11th, 2022. 1 The drinking fountain has been taped off to prevent usage by children in care. Alternative drinking water has been provided to children in care through another fountain and children's own water bottles. The facility plans to completely remove the drinking fountain that tested positive. Proof that the fountain has been removed will be sent to LPA by The facility was notified that a drinking fountain tested on March 4th, 2022 had lead levels exceeding 5 parts per billion(ppb).
