This requirement was not met by evidence of observation of a stop sign and a line of tape on the ground telling parents not to go past 1 Director has removed the tape and the stop sign at the entrance of the facility. Director also confirmed that the facility has informed parents that parents are welcome to walk the children to their classrooms. as well as the statement of the Director during the interview that parents were not allowed in the classrooms. 8

(1)Events reported shall include the following:(C)Any unusual incident or child absence that threatens the physical or emotional health or safety of any child. This requirment was not met by evidence of staff interviews confirming the occurence of the incident and Director confirming it was not reported. 8

California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers (a)California’s Action Level for lead in water at Child Care Centers is 5ppb....(c) If testing indicates an Action Level Exceedance at any water outlet, the water from that outlet, the water from that outlet is deemed not safe to drink and an immediate response pursuant to section 101704 shall be required. 1 Director immediately blocked off water oultet G and made it inaccessible to children in care. Director is capping off the water outlet permanently and re-purposing the stone planter. Director will immediately notify all guardians/parents of the exceedance through email in language of preference of the exceedance and the plan of correction. Based on record review provided by CA Rural Water Association a result of (ALE) of 15 for outlet G which is out of compliance over the allowable ALE 5.5ppb. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Director will provide video/pictures of the re-purposed fountain when complete by above POC date.
