Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs.(1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time. Director states that she has implemented an additional safety measure of checking children between transitions, Director has removed all toy kitchens from the play ground and has gone over the facilities policies on counting children in transitions. This requirement was not met by self-report to the department that C1 was left outside unsupervised for 5-10 minutes. This poses an immediate health safety or personal right to a child in care. 8
