This requirement was not met evidence by: 1 Licensee stated she provided personal rights training to staff already during the inspection on 03/05/2024. Based on interviews conducted by LPA, it was determined that the facility staff patted the children hard, and the staff handles a child in a rough manner. 101223 Personal Rights (3) To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse or other actions of a punitive nature including but not limited to: interference with functions of daily living including eating... This requirement was not met evidence by: Director stated they immediately verbally corrected S5 when they observed S5 grab C1 from the hands and pull them up and drag them across the room. S5 in no longer employed at the childcare center as of 5/6/22. Director will provide staff meeting training on personal rights to their staff. Based on interviews with staff, S5 was verbally corrected by S1 on how to properly grab a child and 2 out 5 disclosed that S5 would raise their voice to the children in care. S5 disclosed staff would unintendedly grab children from their hands and pull them up.
