Morgan Hill Parent-child Nursery School

A child was left unattended in the front parking lot (facing Murphy Ave)on 12/21/23. This is a zero tolerance violation. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights to children in care. Upon receipt, Director shall post and provide copies of this licensing report, have LIC 9224 signed and kept on file, to parents/guardians of children in care at the facility and to parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months. According to AB 633, parents must be provided with this report which contains this Type A deficiency for the next 12 months & copy of the signed acknowledgment form must be kept in each child's file.

101161(a): A licensee shall not operate a child care center beyond the conditions and limitations specified on the license, including the capacity limitation. This requirement was not met by: 1 The Director stated that she will submit a plan to ensure that she operates in accordance with the terms specified in the plan of operation at all times. Director stated that C2 is still enrolled(C2 turned two in 11/2023). Through interview and record review, C2 who was younger than two years of age began Preschool on 9/5/23.This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights to children in care. Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA observed that areas around climbing structure did not have enough material to absorb falls.

Lead Testing Written Directives. a result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater shall be deemed an Action Level Exceedance. This requirement is not met as evident by: 1 Facility only uses sinks for handwashing. A sign was posted that sinks are only used for handwashing. Facility only uses bottle water. Sink A had a result of 6.9ppb. Sink B had a result of 7.3ppb, and Sink C had a result of 19ppb. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. 8
